Mitel/Shoretel Phones

As part of our implementation of the new phone system currently taking place, we have replaced many of the phones in classrooms and non essential areas only as of yesterday at all the schools. Office and Administration phones will be deployed late afternoon Monday, August 7th. External calls from the public will continue to work in the office areas of the buildings at all locations until Monday evening at which point we will be replacing those areas with the new phones and there will be a short period until the carrier makes their changes for public calls to resume into the district on Tuesday morning, August 8th.

At some point this morning, as we configure our systems throughout the district for the new phones, the new phones will work but will only allow for calls to be made. However, calls from the outside (public) coming into the district will not work until sometime between 10:00 AM and NOON on Tuesday, August 8th once our carrier for public phone services has made the changes on their end which is scheduled for that morning.

With the new ShoreTel phones, once things have been setup today, you will need to dial a "9" first before you can make a call. Additional info and training on how to use the phones will be made available as we move forward (still to be determined).
